Angela

Angela Colabella is a director, producer, writer, and storyteller from the North Bay Area. She earned her MFA in Film & Television Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where she was a recipient of the George Lucas Family Endowment Scholarship.

Angela's work moves across fictional and documentary storytelling, drawn to folklore, mythology, magical realism, and nuanced representations of women of color. Her visual language is shaped by an early immersion in non-linear, experimental film and multimedia during her undergraduate studies, and by a background spanning dance, theater, and photography — mediums that continue to inform her voice and cinematic style.
